Sample ballots and polling location information for the November 3, 2020 General Election can be found on the Floyd County Auditor’s webpage.  

Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Note:  Two of our polling places have been temporarily closed :  1) St Charles and Riverton township and the city of Nashua (Floyd Co side) residents who normally would vote at the Cedar Valley Transportation Center will vote for this election only at the Floyd County Courthouse, General Assembly Room; 2) Scott, Union, and Pleasant Grove township and city of Marble Rock residents who normally would vote at the Marble Rock Library will vote for this election only at the Rockford Community Center.  

VOTERS WHO VOTE IN PERSON (ABSENTEE OR AT THE POLLS):  BE SURE TO BRING YOUR ID WITH YOU.

Absentee In Person Voting can be done in the Floyd County Auditor's office Tue-Thurs (Oct 27-29) from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and extended hours on Fri (Oct 30), Sat (Oct 31), and Mon (Nov 2) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Voters who have requested a ballot by mail and do not want to return the ballot by mail, may ay drop off their ballot in the official Ballot Drop Box in the entry way of the courthouse or deliver it directly to the auditor's office.  Voters who chose to return their ballot by mail must make sure their return envelope is postmarked no later than November 2; ballots returned by mail must be received in the auditor's office by noon, November 9 in order to be counted.  

Unofficial results for Floyd County will be posted on the Floyd County Auditor Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/FloydCountyAuditor/ on election night as results come in and on the Floyd County Auditor’s web page at the end of the night.  The Canvass of the election will be on Tuesday, November 10 at 10 a.m. (following the regular Board of Supervisor’s meeting) in the Floyd County Courthouse General Assembly Room.  Official results will be posted on both sites.
