[ARCHIVED] Special Election - September 13, 2022

Special Election - Sept 9, 2022 - Nashua-Plainfield & Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Comm School District

Nashua-Plainfield Community School District and Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Community School District will have special elections on September 13, 2022 to adopt their respective district's Revenue Purpose Statements specifying the use of revenues from the State of Iowa Advanced Vision Education Fund.  Sample ballots for both districts are attached.
Nashua-Plainfield CSD eligible voters who reside in Floyd County vote on Election Day at any of the three VOTE CENTERS:  Floyd County Fairgrounds, Floyd Community Center or Rockford City Hall/Community Center.  (Eligible voters who reside in Chickasaw County and Butler County vote at Nashua City Hall.)
Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock CSD eligible voters who reside in Floyd County and Mitchell County vote on Election Day at any of these three VOTE CENTERS:  Rockford City Hall/Community Center, Floyd Community Center, or Floyd County Fairgrounds.  (Eligible voters who reside in Cerro Gordo County within Owen Township will vote at Hanford Community Church and within Dougherty Township will vote at Rockwell Community Center.)
Stop by the County Auditor's Office to vote Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and extended hours on Friday, September 9 until 5 p.m.  
BE SURE TO BRING YOUR ID WITH YOU WHEN YOU VOTE!  Iowa law requires voters to provide proof of identity and residence.
